Fitch is committed to championing sustainable practices and having a positive impact in their communities. The DEI and CSR Transparency Report provides an overview of Fitch’s progress in both DEI and CSR.

  • License to Hire was launched in 2020 to enhance managers’ skills to enable them to make objective and less biased decisions in the hiring process. To date, 314 colleagues have attended the License to Hire workshop, with 145 accreditations.

  • The Fitch Scholars Program is a diversity pipeline program that provides undergraduate students an opportunity to immerse themselves as an analyst in one of Fitch Ratings’ groups for an internship placement.

    The program aims to widen the participation of high-performing students from underrepresented communities in finance. Scholars immerse themselves in the credit ratings process, receiving on-the-job training, mentorship and professional development along the way. In 2023, the Fitch Scholars program hired ten scholars — five in the U.K. and five in the U.S.

  • Fitch was a corporate supporter of Queer Britain: The National LGBTQ+ museum, the U.K.’s first dedicated LGBTQ+ museum. In 2022, the Pride Network hosted an event and was welcomed to the museum by co-founder and director Joseph Galliano-Doig, who spoke of the museum as a unique space where, instead of mainly going to see artifacts, people go to “see themselves.”

  • Fitch’s Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAs) is a global taskforce of colleagues in EMEA, APAC and North America trained to offer confidential support to peers, playing an important role in helping individuals feel connected and supported.

  • The Inclusivity and Women in Financial Services Webinar series helps women develop their career. To date, over 1,000 participants at various career stages have joined workshops covering communication styles, overcoming imposter syndrome, unconscious bias, gender neutral inclusivity and more.

  • Fitch Black and Latinx Alliance Network for Corporate Excellence (BALANCE) is an ERG created to help diversify the workforce by advocating for and assisting with programming geared toward increasing representation, retention and leadership ranks for Black and Latinx colleagues who are dedicated and committed to the company’s overall success.

  • Fitch’s international Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Network aims to create a more diverse and inclusive company that embraces and highlights all cultures, educates on racial equality and supports career advancement in the workplace, from hiring all the way up to the leadership ranks.

  • Green Wave is a company-wide movement that promotes a greener, cleaner, more sustainable planet through education, information and motivation.

  • Fitch InspirAsian seeks to empower employees of Asian and Pacific Islander heritage and to create an inclusive, just and equitable workplace through connection and community, professional development, advocacy and social justice.

  • The Fitch Pride Network (FPN) is a global ERG focused on helping Fitch become an employer of choice for diverse individuals. FPN aims to broaden awareness of issues the LGBTQAI+ community faces in support of an equitable and inclusive work environment.

  • Fitch Women’s Network is an employee-led network for women and their allies. The network provides a vibrant community for women to connect, contribute and grow professionally and personally.

  • The Working Parents & Caregivers Network aims to facilitate a supportive and inclusive community of parents, caregivers, and allies at Fitch.

CreditPath creates opportunities in finance, credit analysis, macro research and technical-related fields.
