“As Military Might expands from an HTV to a Hearst-wide ERG this year, and includes veterans, reservists and allies, it has become a great resource for young professionals to stand out and get more involved. It connects you to people with a broader outlook, finding ways to include those transitioning from military to civilian life, who have different ways of thinking but so much to give to our culture at Hearst. I have helped introduce volunteering so that we can spend more time together, but also give back.”

Military Might has expanded from a Hearst Television ERG to Corporate-wide. It includes veterans, family and allies.

Hearst Speaks

“There needed to be a place where our people can see what our own publications are saying about race, gender, ethnicity and gender identity. It is not just a library; it has led to action.”

  • Hearst Speaks was created in 2020 to support learning through curated content from Hearst brands on important social issues, including racial issues. A constantly evolving set of stories on Hearst’s intranet, it reflects the diversity of Hearst’s content and encourages colleagues to explore and learn.
